
Sameera Rizvi is an international medical graduate who earned her medical degree from Dow Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan, and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research at Oxford College in Ontario, Canada.
With more than eight years of research experience across infectious diseases, mental health, and transplantation, Sameera plays a central role in coordinating the laboratory’s clinical research portfolio. She oversees clinical study operations, regulatory submissions, and Research Ethics Board (REB) applications while supporting multiple investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.
Her primary research interests focus on metabolic liver disease and liver transplantation, including clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for transplant recipients. She is committed to advancing high-quality clinical research that improves patient outcomes and strengthens evidence-based transplant care.
